Identification and characterization study of interlayers in core Ⅲ oil formation of Shuanghe south block
Different types of interlayers developed in the south block reservoir of Shuanghe Oilfield affect the movement of oil and water and the later recovery of residual oil,in order to further improve the development efficiency. The interlayers in core Ⅲ oil formation of Shuanghe south block were identified and the distribution characteristics of the interlayers were studied.Through logging characteristics, crossplot and Fisher discriminant analysis method, the interlayer was identified.According to the identification results, the well profile and plan were drawn, and the distribution characteristics of interlayers were obtained. The results showed that three types of silty,physi-cal properties, and calcium were developed in the study area. The silty interlayers are widely distributed in the bifurcation and marginal areas of the sand bodies of the main channel, the river side and the remote channel,as well as the areas with weak hydrodynamic condi-tions and far from the source of the material.Calcareous interlayers are distributed near faults and near source areas with strong hydrody-namics.Physical interlayers are less developed and scattered. This study provides a basis for the remaining oil development and potential exploitation in the later period.
