The Longmen area in Luoyang is rich in geothermal resources.How to reduce the impact of human factors on the spring group in Longmen Grottoes scenic area,a world cultural heritage site,while developing and utilizing geothermal resources,has become a very important topic.On the basis of summarizing and analyzing previous geological and geothermal data in the local area,this study further investigated and monitored the dynamics of the spring area,and deeply analyzed the relationship between the development and utilization of geothermal resources in the region and the middle and deep groundwater,as well as its impact on the protection of the Longmen Grot-toes spring group.The hydrogeological conditions of the spring area and the reasons for intermittent flow interruptions in history were i-dentified,and a zoning plan for the development and utilization of geothermal groundwater in the Longmen area was proposed.This study can provide scientific basis and reasonable suggestions for the protection of Longmen Grottoes spring group,promote the adjustment and optimization of energy structure in Luoyang City,and promote the development of geothermal and other related industries.
