Application of KA-NC-1 intelligent drilling calibration instrument in precise gas control of Nuodong Coal Mine
In response to the critical issues related to gas outburst prediction,gas management strategies and the evaluation of gas control effectiveness from coal seams under complex geological conditions in prominent mines,the structure,principle,and construction method of the KA-NC-1 intelligent drilling calibration instrument were described in detail,and it was experimentally applied on-site in Nuodong Coal Mine.The experimental results are as follows:firstly,the predicted absolute gas emission of No.20 coal seam obtained through the intelligent drilling calibration instrument is 41.52 m3/min,which is basically consistent with the actual measurement value,and the ac-curate prediction of the absolute gas emission of the mine has been successfully achieved;secondly,the intelligent drilling calibration in-strument accurately measures the calibration parameters such as drilling inclination angle,azimuth angle,trajectory,and absolute devia-tion of trajectory while drilling,making the layout of drilling more in line with design requirements,thereby achieving precise measures for gas control in the working face;thirdly,the use of automatic recognition technology for drilling blank zones ensures the layout of"stubble pressing"in the extraction drilling,thereby achieving intelligent calibration and evaluation of the gas control effect in the work-ing face.
