Study on reasonable width value range of ultra-long working face of near horizontal coal seam
In order to study the deformation and failure characteristics of the two zones of overlying rock in ultra-long working face min-ing and the variation law of ore pressure difference.Taking Yuandatan Coal Mine as the background,the numerical calculation model of different length of working face was established by using numerical simulation software,and the failure of surrounding rock under differ-ent width of working face was studied,providing certain scientific basis for the reasonable width selection of working face.The results show that:the mining width of the working face is directly proportional to the development height,the displacement change range and and the magnitude of stress of the two zones of overlying rock.At the same time,with the increase of mining width,the range of stress ar-ea expands,and the peak value of elastic energy generally increases,especially after the mining width reaches 450 m.With the increase of the working area width,the increase of the height of the two zones gradually decreases,the change of the displacement region is rela-tively small,and the increase of the stress region is gradually reduced.Under reasonable on-site prevention and control measures,400 m working face width can better meet the safe and efficient production of working face,and the research conclusions can provide guidance for the reasonable selection of the range of working face width in Yuandatan Coal Mine.
