Experimental study on effect of polypropylene cellulose on mechanical properties of cement curing
In view of the problems of poor flexibility, easy shrinkage cracking and low tensile strength of cement-based materials as brittle materials, the effects of different polypropylene cellulose content on 28 d compressive strength, tensile strength and total stress-strain curve of cement specimens were studied by controlling a single variable. It was found that the uniaxial compressive strength and tensile strength of cement specimens showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of polypropylene cellulose content. When the content of polypropylene cellulose was 0.15%,the uniaxial compressive strength and tensile strength of the cement specimen at 28 d were the best, which were 32.44 MPa and 3.89 MPa respectively. The cement specimens have higher residual strength under this dosage, and the research results are of great significance to the selection of shotcrete materials for deep roadway surrounding rock.
