Study on propagation characteristics of methane/hydrogen/air premixed deflagration in pipelines with gradual cross-section
Gradual cross-section pipeline is a type of pipeline form that can regulate fluid flow characteristics by changing the cross-sec-tional area and shape of the pipeline.By using the independently constructed test platform, the premixed explosion test with different e-quivalence ratios and hydrogen volume fractions was carry out,the pressure wave and flame propagation images of the explosion of the methane-doped hydrogen premixed gas in the gradual cross-section pipeline was analyzed synchronously, and the explosion pressure of the methane-doped hydrogen premixed gas was investigated,in order to prevent and evaluate the transportation of methane hydrogen premixed gas,and a basis for fire and explosion prevention design was provided. The results of the study show that when the premixed gas is in the 0-300 mm pipe section, different equivalence ratios of the flame change trend is basically the same;when the flame front in the gradual cross-section of the pipe section, that is,300-600 mm,the flame speed change is greater. When the equivalence ratio is 0.8,the flame ve-locity first increases and then decreases;when the equivalence ratio is 1.0 and 1.2,the velocity change continues to increase.
