Green application and development of melamine based sound-absorbing materials in the field of energy noise reduction
To address the impact of noise pollution on human health and the ecological environment during energy extraction,a versatile, environmentally friendly, and highly efficient sound-absorbing material was developed.Utilizing melamine and polyformaldehyde as the base materials, combined with multifunctional additives,an innovative cyclic bubble homogenization synergistic grafting technology and siphon flow-controlled gradient microwave integrated molding foaming technology were employed to fabricate a lightweight, hydrophobic, oleophobic, and highly sound-absorbing melamine-based material.Furthermore, the development of honeycomb-embedded melamine foam optimized the sound-absorbing performance and application range of the material. Results showed that this material achieved an av-erage sound-absorbing coefficient of 0.85 within the frequency range of 500-2 500 Hz,significantly outperforming the average coeffi-cient of 0.65 of traditional porous sound-absorbing materials. The average sound-absorbing coefficients of the modified materials at a fre-quency of 500 Hz were increased to 0.54 and 0.56 respectively. The newly developed melamine-based material not only demonstrated excellent sound-absorbing performance in harsh environments such as interstellar space,ultra-low temperatures, humidity, and heavy oil pollution but also holded broad application potential in the field of energy development like oil extraction.Additionally, the application of the material in large air volume sound insulation rooms significantly improved noise reduction effects, with an average sound reduction of 37.1 dB,far exceeding the 24.7dB of traditional sound insulation rooms.
