Research on karst development and water-rich zoning characteristics based on transient electromagnetic
Aiming at the problem of karst water disaster in Guanwen Coal Mine of southern Sichuan Coalfield, the transient electromag-netic technology was used to detect the apparent resistivity of the strata in the mining area, and the physical properties of the strata were determined in combination with the geological data of the mine. The karst development and water-rich characteristics of the mining area were analyzed, which was divided into zones, and the water filling source of the mine was determined. The results show that the hydro-geological conditions of Guanwen Coal Mine are complex and the karst development is widely distributed. There are 37 water-rich anom-aly bodies, including 20 karst cave anomalies, accounting for 54.1%.The karst water-rich in the mining area has significant zoning characteristics in the plan and profile, which is basically strong in the lower part and weak in the upper part, strong in the north and weak in the south, and strong in the west and weak in the east.An underground river is developed in the northwest end, which is con-nected with the fracture zone caused by the fault, forming a large area of strong water-rich area. The Changxing Formation limestone karst-fissure weak aquifer and the Maokou Formation limestone karst-fissure aquifer are the main water sources for the future mine roof and floor water filling, respectively. The research results can provide a basis for mine water prevention and control work.
