Research on technology of flue gas circulation dry quenching of coke and heat recovery and reuse
The current process of using hot coke for cooling treatment requires a large amount of water resources and there is a problem of heat energy waste.Therefore,research was being conducted on new flue gas circulation dry quenching of coke and heat recovery and reuse technologies.In the dry quenching furnace,the hot red carbon was brought into contact with the circulating flue gas,causing the temperature of the hot red coke to decrease during the contact process.When the temperature dropped to a certain value,it was dis-charged from the bottom of the dry quenching furnace;during this process,the flue gas was affected by the temperature of the hot red coke,which increased in temperature and flowed into the dry quenching boiler,heating the water to form high-pressure or medium pres-sure steam;when the flue gas temperature dropped to around 200 ℃,the circulating fan was used to re-enter the dry quenching furnace and exchange heat with the hot red coke again,achieving flue gas circulation;the steam formed by high-temperature flue gas entered the heat recovery and reuse system.The experimental results show that under the same circulating flue gas flow rate,the higher the water va-por content in the flue gas,the lower the outlet temperature of the coke;the lower the initial temperature of the flue gas,the lower the outlet temperature of the coke;the use of this technology to recover heat for heating and steam supply has good economic benefits.
