Exploration and analysis of geothermal resources based on finite element simulation
In the process of coal mining,it is very easy to have high temperature heat damage, which directly affects the safety of mining work.In order to avoid the mine heat damage and further utilize the geothermal resources in the region effectively,a method of geother-mal resources exploration was put forward and the geothermal distribution in the region was analyzed. The study took the temperature measurement method of the drilling system as the benchmark detection results, the finite element model was established according to the actual situation of the study area. After determining the upper and lower boundaries, parameter values, grid division methods,et al,the study analyzed the distribution of geothermal resources of the region and the causes of geothermal generation through numerical simula-tion.The results show that the amount of thermal resources in the region is 2.30 × 1019 J,and the recoverable thermal energy reserves are 2.55 × 1018 J,which can be converted into 88 million tons of standard coal. This shows that the study area contains huge geothermal resources and has very high utilization value. The research results provide geological basis for heat damage prevention and comprehen-sive exploitation and utilization of geothermal resources in regional coal mine development, and further promote the sustainable develop-ment of coal mine.
