Application of transient electromagnetic method and LiDAR scanning micro-motion exploration in joint detection water-rich areas of coal seam
When groundwater flows in rocks,it will have physical and chemical effects on the rocks,such as dissolution,erosion,and transport effects.These effects will intensify rock fissures and fault activity,leading to increased difficulty in exploring coal water-rich ar-eas.By using transient electromagnetic method to accurately measure the response of underground media to electromagnetic pulses,com-bined with high-precision monitoring of surface elevation changes and small vibrations by laser radar,precise identification of coal seam water-rich areas in deep and complex geological conditions and prediction of surface deformation can be achieved.Therefore,taking Guojiawan Coal Mine of CHN Energy Yulin Energy as an example,the application of transient electromagnetic method and laser sensing micro motion exploration combined to detect coal seam water-rich areas was studied.According to the depth of rock layer distribution,an electromagnetic signal transmission device was built on the surface to detect changes in apparent resistivity through the principle of me-dium reflection and diffusion,and obtain real-time sensed resistivity change data.Supplementary micro motion exploration short profiles was obtained by using data scanned by laser radar.Combining the changes in resistivity and micro motion exploration short profiles,a joint analysis was conducted to constrain the characteristics of resistivity and the analysis of micro motion exploration short profiles.Based on the analysis results,the range of water-rich areas of the coal seam roof can be accurately delineated,achieving exploration of water-rich areas in the coal seam roof.The experimental results show that this joint method can effectively analyze the water-rich proper-ties of coal seam roof,and the exploration results of the distribution of water-rich areas in coal seam roof are completely consistent with the actual results,with an exploration accuracy of 100%.Therefore,it indicates that the joint exploration method has good application effects and high practical application value.
