Study on influence of hydrogen storage and release performance of solid hydrogen storage and heat exchange device
In order to explore the influencing factors of hydrogen storage and release reaction rate of solid hydrogen storage and heat ex-change device,a solid hydrogen storage and heat exchange device was constructed.Numerical simulation studies were conducted on the effects of various factors on the hydrogen storage and release reactions of solid hydrogen storage and heat exchange devices,the differ-ences in hydrogen storage and release reaction rates at different positions on the same cross-section were analyzed and compared.The re-sults showed that when the hydrogen storage reaction was carried out,the hydrogen supply pressure increased from 3 MPa to 5 MPa,and the hydrogen storage reaction time was shortened by 16%.The inlet temperature of the heat exchange fluid was reduced from 550 K to 450 K,and the hydrogen storage reaction time was shortened by 57%.Under the same working condition and cross-section,the farther away from the heat exchange fluid pipelines,the slower the hydrogen storage reaction rate of the material;when conducting a hydrogen release reaction,the time required for hydrogen release reaction extended by 23%when the pressure was increased from 0.3 MPa to 0.5 MPa with the limit of F=0.2;the time required for hydrogen release reaction decreased by 41%when the inlet temperature of heat ex-change fluid was increased from 550 K to 650 K with the limit of F=0.3.Under the same working condition and cross-section,the far-ther the material was from the heat exchange fluid pipelines,the slower the hydrogen release reaction rate was.
