Research on physical properties and evolution law of oil shale under high pressure environment
A three-dimensional numerical model was constructed to simulate the evolution of oil shale by analyzing the thermal and elec-trical properties of oil shale.Based on the results obtained from the numerical simulation model, the thermal gravimetric curve, derivative thermal gravimetric curve, saturated water phase relative permeability, saturated oil phase relative permeability and other properties of oil shale under high-pressure environment were analyzed. The results indicate that in high-pressure environments, the resistivity of oil shale is usually lower than that in atmospheric pressure environments. In addition, the analysis results also show that the relative permeability of saturated water phase is negatively correlated with water saturation and water saturation, while the relative permeability of saturated oil phase is positively correlated with water saturation and saturated gas oil phase is positively correlated with liquid saturation.High pres-sure environment is a common condition in oil shale reservoirs.Studying the physical properties of oil shale under high pressure can bet-ter understand the pore structure, permeability, porosity and other characteristics in the reservoir. This is of great significance for deter-mining reservoir storage capacity, predicting production, and optimizing mining plans.
