The beef cattle industry is one of the leading characteristic industries in Huize county Yunnan province.The paper summarized the three major advantages of high-quality development of the beef cattle industry in Huize county,including good industrial policies,favorable development conditions and good market conditions.A brief introduction was given to the current development status of the beef cattle industry in Huize county,which was constantly expanding,improving in organizational level,technological level and strengthening disease prevention and control.The paper analyzed the problems in the development of the beef cattle industry in Huize county,such as insufficient organization,insufficient technological support,insufficient credit and financial support and insufficient deep processing capabilities.The paper proposed measures to enhance the high-quality development of the beef cattle industry in Huize county,including strengthening external and internal connections,cultivating and strengthening leading enterprises,highlighting factor guarantees,formulating and improving support policies,strengthening technical training to improve scientific breeding levels,optimizing regional layout and increasing moderate scale breeding.
