Weichai introduced 35 t/h long furnace age hot air water-cooled oxygen-enriched cupola from EC&S of the United States,and equipped two 80 t insulated electric furnaces for mass production of engine gray cast iron cylinder block and cylinder head castings through double melting.This paper introduces the main system and application of 35 t/h cupola.According to the ap-plication practice in recent years,in two shift production conditions,the chemical composition of molten iron is stable,and fully meet production requirements of diesel engine cylinder block,and cylinder head.The cupola is suitable for mass continuous production,and has the characteristics of high automation,high efficiency level and environmentally friendly.
