Analysis and Improvement of the Distortion of a Cylinder Head Hot Sand Core
Taking the deformation of the hot box sand core in the casting process of a large single cylinder head as an example,the application of the hot box sand core in the production of large single cylinder head is summarized.The deformation causes of hot core box sand core are analyzed,and the problem of casting scrap caused by deformation in the process of hot core box sand core is solved.In order to effectively solve the deformation problem of hot core box sand core during the casting process,in addition to strictly control-ling the process parameters of hot core box core making,it is also necessary to control the thickness consistency of the solidified layer of hot core box sand core to ensure the strength of the sand core,and adopt the core stay fixing process to provide support for the sand core to resist the buoyancy of hot metal.
