Quality Control of Heavy Transmission Housing by Lost Foam Casting Process
In order to reduce the defects of inclusion,slag inclusion and iron leakage of the transmission housing,the causes of the defects are analyzed according to the principle of lost foam casting and the structural characteristics of the transmission housing,and the comprehensive rejection rate of the transmission housing can be controlled within 4％through the optimization of the model drying time,the application of the automatic gluing machine,the selection of reasonable pouring temperature,the optimization of the casting struc-ture,the use of ceramic filter and the use of digital process control.
