In a certificate-based signature scheme, only the signers who possess both a certificate and a private key can generate a valid signature. The security analysis of a certificate-based proxy aggre-gate signature scheme proposed recently is presented, demonstrating that a malicious certificate au-thority can arbitrarily forge delegation and proxy signature.Based on the discrete logarithm problem on the elliptic curve,an improved certificate-based proxy aggregate signature scheme is constructed. Finally, the security and computation efficiency of the improved scheme are analyzed.
