Effect of Solution Treatment on Corrosion Resistance of Nitrogenous Duplex Stainless Steel by Injection Molding
Nitrogen-containing biphase stainless steel made from 316L austenitic stainless steel powder and 430 ferritic stain-less steel powder is taken as the research object. The nitrogen biphase stainless steel was treated by solid solution under the pro-tection of flowing argon at the solution temperatures of 1 300℃,1 320℃and 1 340℃,respectively.The influence of solu-tion temperature on corrosion resistance of nitrogenous duplex stainless steel was studied by polarization curve and AC imped-ance spectrum. The results show that the corrosion resistance of nitrogen-containing stainless steel is better than that of 316L and 430 after solution treatment at 1 320℃under the protection of flowing argon. The self-corrosion current density, pitting potential and charge transfer resistance are 1.67×10-6 A·cm-2,0.219 V and 2.84×103Ω·cm2,respectively.
