Sparsity Promoting Dynamic Mode Decomposition for Viscoelastic Flow Around Circular Cylinder
In order to study the temporal-spatial evolution characteristics and states of vortexes around viscoelastic cylinders,a fluid critical mode analysis method combining dynamic mode decomposition and sparse promotion optimization(SP-DMD)is proposed.The numerical simulation results of the viscoelastic flow around circular cylinder show that the modes obtained by the SP-DMD method can not only reproduce the overall flow pattern of the original flow field,but also describe the local flow field structure of a larger scale.Compared with the traditional dynamic mode decomposition,SP-DMD can identify and extract the viscoelastic flow field structure information with stable state.This method can provide a good reference for studying the flow field characteristics of complex viscoelastic fluid induced by elasticity.
