Spatial Correlation and Influencing Factors Analysis of Blockchain Development in the Eastern Coastal Areas
Based on the blockchain data from 2017 to 2021 of 10 provinces and cities in the eastern coastal area of China,the modified gravity model is utilized to create the spatial correlation matrix of blockchain development in these provinces and cit-ies.The study employs social network analysis and the QAP method to investigate the spatial network association structure characteristics and the factors influencing the spatial network strength of blockchain development in the eastern coastal area of China.The results show that from 2017 to 2021,the spatial correlation of blockchain development in the eastern coastal region is relatively strong,and the network structure is relatively stable.Among them,Guangdong,Beijing,Zhejiang,Jiangsu,and Shandong,along with other economically developed provinces and cities,possess a strong blockchain foundation.They are positioned at the core of the network,serving as intermediaries and radiating influence to propel blockchain development in other regions.If the spatial correlation network of blockchain development in the eastern coastal area is divided into four sec-tions:two-way spillover,broker,net spillover,and net benefit,it is found that the internal connection of some sectors is weak,and the spillover effect between sectors is significant.The spatial proximity,regional disparities in blockchain talent,and variations in the number of blockchain enterprises have a substantial influence on the spatial structure,correlation,and spillover effects of blockchain development in the eastern coastal area.
