摘要
《简·爱》与《呼啸山庄》都是浪漫主义文学的代表性作品,时至今日仍旧被世人传颂.这两部作品展现出很多的共性,都是通过作者的丰富想象而呈现出一种炙热、刻骨的爱情,这种爱情在现实社会中却受到压抑,体现出深刻的矛盾性.因此,可以以人的自然性和社会之间的矛盾为切入点,对这两部作品的矛盾根源进行深层解读,从而有助于读者更深刻地理解当时社会环境与追求个性解放和独立平等间的冲突.
Abstract
Both"Jane Eyre"and"Wuthering Heights"are iconic works of romantic literature that continue to captivate readers worldwide.These two novels share commonalities in their depiction of fiery and soul-stir-ring love,crafted through the authors'vivid imaginations.The love depicted is suppressed by the norms and ex-pectations of society.The conflict between naturality and sociality gives rise to a profound contradiction.By ex-amining the source of the contradiction in these two works,readers can gain a deeper understanding of the con-flict between the social environment at that time and the pursuit of individual liberation,independence and equality.
