Factors Influencing Knowledge Sharing Behavior in Virtual Learning Communities:A Case Study of Campus Assisted Virtual Learning Community
The advent of information technology has revolutionized learning practices, leading to the emer-gence of virtual learning communities where individuals share knowledge through teaching platforms and social media.Knowledge sharing, the transfer of individual knowledge and the dissemination of feedback within these communities,is essential for their growth and sustainability. This study focuses on the knowledge sharing behav-ior within a campus assisted virtual learning community, characterized by a"host-guest sharing"dynamic,ad-herence to the principle of"cost minimization,"and the representation of real-world relationships through net-work connections. To enhance the level of knowledge contribution within virtual learning communities, this study suggests leveraging the guidance of teachers, establishing reciprocity norms among community members, refining mechanisms for distributing new knowledge, and incentivizing knowledge sharing activities.
