The service in dining-room for the sailors is a very important issue in a luxury passenger liner which affects the work's performance, so as well as the ship's. There has not too much research about this topic in China right now. A method to simulate and analyze the dining-room servicing mode which was based on the discrete event system using the software QUEST has been brought out, and used to estimate a design project by analyzing the six factors which affect the servicing mode while releasing a final implement suggestion.
