For example, currentworkflow processes often require a pathologist to re-review materials to select the best slides or sections oftumor areas for sequencing, which may be challenging and time consuming.“Difficulties in current techniques include identifying the best tissue block and/or slides taken from ahuman or veterinary patient for testing (e.g., genomic sequencing), as well as verifying that the chosentissue block and/or slides taken from a patient contain adequate tumor tissue.
