Abstract

According to news reportingout of Ithaca, New York, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “The numerical forecast methods used topredict ionospheric convective plasma instabilities associated with Equatorial Spread-F (ESF) have limitedaccuracy and are often computationally expensive. We test whether it is possible to bypass first-principlenumeric simulations and forecast irregularities using machine learning models.”
