Abstract

According to news originatingfrom Nottingham, United Kingdom, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Generic andhigh-performance feedback control is still challenging for tendon-driven continuum robots. Conventionalmodel-based controllers, based on the piecewise constant curvature (PCC) assumption, explicitly requirethe arc parameters (bending angle and direction angle) to link the task (in Cartesian coordinates) andactuation spaces.”
