By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News – New research on Oncology - Melanoma is the subject of a report. According to newsreporting from Cambridge, United Kingdom, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Robot-assisted pelviclymph node dissection (rPLND) has been reported in heterogenous groups of patients with melanoma, including macroscopic or at-high-risk-for microscopic metastasis. With changing indications for surgery inmelanoma, and availability of effective systemic therapies, pelvic dissection is now performed for clinicallydetected bulky lymph node metastasis followed by adjuvant drug therapy. rPLND has not been comparedwith open pelvic lymph node dissection (oPLND) for modern practice.”
