According to news reporting out of Nottingham,United Kingdom, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “With their flexible nature, continuum robots offerhyper-redundancy regarding their workspace; their backbone can take many shapes upon a single tipposition and orientation. Deciphering which backbone shape to use under certain conditions is crucialto their operation, especially given the rise in their use in industries such as inspection and repair, andminimally invasive surgery.”
