According tonews reporting out of Hefei, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “The integrityof structures in contemporary engineering practices is heavily influenced by inherent uncertainties, whichnecessitates the development of reliable structural reliability analysis methods for uncertainty quantification and probabilistic analysis. This paper investigates the integration of surrogate models and subset simulation(SS) to accurately compute the failure probabilities of high-dimensional complex systems.”
