According to newsreporting out of Maharashtra, India, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Biochar, a carbon-rich substanceobtained through the pyrolysis of various biomass sources like wood, agricultural residues, and municipalsolid waste, exhibits exceptional adsorption properties, making it highly effective in removing a wide rangeof pollutants, including emerging pharmaceutical contaminants. This is due to its porous structure andlarge surface area.”
