Abstract

A new study on Gram-Negative Bacterial Infections - Leptospirosis is now available. According to news reporting originating in Noumea, New Caledonia, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, "Leptospirosis is a zoonosis caused by Leptospira bacteria present in the urine of mammals. Leptospira is able to survive in soils and can be resuspended during rain events." Financial supporters for this research include Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), Northern Province of New Caledonia.
