Researchers detail new data in Robotics - Androids. According to news reporting out of Shanghai, People's Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, "Ensuring safety is crucial for robots collaborating with humans in a shared workspace. Current human-robot interaction (HRI) safety strategies focus on either precollision motion replanning or postcollision force control, using unimodal perception." Funders for this research include National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Science & Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality (STCSM).
