According to news reporting from Madison, Wisconsin, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “This paper proposes a novel injection molding process optimization method based on the in-mold condition (IMC) and interpreted influence of in-mold condition features on part quality. In-mold condition is crucial for process optimization because it represents the actual process condition in the cavity where the polymer material is formed into the final part shape.” Funders for this research include University of Wisconsin-Madison Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education (VCRGE), Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), AJOU- Frontier Scholarship Program - Ajou University, Consolidated Papers Foundation Chair Professorship by the Mead Witter Foundation.
