Abstract

2024 FEB 27 (NewsRx) – By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – New research on Eye Diseases and Conditions - Angle-Closure Glaucoma is the subject of a report. According to news reporting from Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) is the leading cause of irreversible blindness in Asia, and no reliable, effective diagnostic, and predictive biomarkers are used in clinical routines. A growing body of evidence shows metabolic alterations in patients with glaucoma.” Financial supporters for this research include National Natural Science Foundation of China, Youth Med- ical Talents - Clinical Laboratory Practitioner Program, Shanghai Municipal Health Commission Project, Higher Education Industry-Academic-Research Innovation Fund of China.
