No assignee for this patent application has been made. News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors: "The present invention relates to a robotic working apparatus configured to perf orm work while autonomously traveling on a field. "Conventionally, there has been known a working robot configured to perform work such as mowing work while autonomously traveling in a working area. See Japanes e Patent No. 5973608. The entire contents of this disclosure are hereby incorpor ated by reference. According to this related art, a virtual boundary line is des ignated for a working area by a user, the working area is divided into a plurali ty of areas by the designated virtual boundary line, and a preferential working area is set to each of the divided areas."
