According to news reporting out of Beijing, People’s Republic of China, by N ewsRx editors, research stated, “Sound source approaching is a typical task for the robot with auditory sensing. Many existing methods are based on sound source localization (SSL), and utilize the explicit location as the control input.” Financial supporters for this research include National Key Research and Develop ment Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Majo r Basic Research Projects of Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province.
