The robot hand includes a bas e portion, a gripping part that grips a gripping target object with a first grip ping part and a second gripping part, and a conformable portion. When the grippi ng target object is gripped, the conformable portion allows rotation of the firs t gripping part and the second gripping part about an axis in an extending direc tion from the base portion and allows rotation of the first gripping part and th e second gripping part in an opening and closing direction such that gripping su rfaces of the first gripping part and the second gripping part follow a shape of the gripping target object. As a result, it is possible to cause the gripping s urface of the gripping part to favorably follow the shape of the gripping target object.
