According to news reporting originating in Charlottesvill e, Virginia, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “With the development of sm art manufacturing, human-robot collaboration (HRC) is seen as the future of manu facturing. In a manufacturing environment with HRC, safety has been raising sign ificant attention since the conventional separation of workspaces between robots and humans is removed.” Financial support for this research came from National Science Foundation (NSF).
