Abstract

From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents o btained the following quote: “High-precision laser scanners (e.g., MEMS scanners ) have been developed that can turn any surface into a virtual interface (VI). F or example, a laser projected VI can be projected onto the palm of a user’s hand or other surface. Such a VI can be used with electronic devices.” Supplementing the background information on this patent, NewsRx reporters also o btained the inventors’ summary information for this patent: “Systems, methods, d evices and non-transitory, computerreadable storage media are disclosed for dis play and manipulation of images using wearable multimedia devices and associated network architecture. In some implementations, a user views images, interacts w ith displayed images, or controls of an image capture device, or any suitable co mbination of these, using a laser projected VI associated with a wearable multim edia device. The image capture device can be included in the wearable multimedia device.
