Abstract

According to news reporting originating from Evanston, Illinois, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Phase-field (PF) modeling is a vers atile physics-based computational method that has been used to simulate the evol ution of microstructures. The PF method can produce accurate microstructures but suffers from a high computational cost, limiting its use in length scales relev ant to additive manufacturing.”
