According to news reporting out of Tamil Nadu, India, by NewsRx edit ors, research stated, “Accurate and online prediction of heat exchanger (HE) fou ling is one of the primary requirements for precise control, predictive maintena nce, and operational continuity. As fouling tends to alter the HE dynamics, a du al extended Kalman filter (DEKF) becomes the ideal technique to predict fouling along with the HE states concurrently.”
