A cockpit assembly includes at least a door. A cockpit assembly includes an inceptor stick. An inceptor stick includes a sheath movably connected thereon. An inceptor stick includes an actuator commu nicatively connected to a sheath. An actuator is configured to move a sheath bet ween at least a door of a cockpit and an inceptor stick.
