Abstract

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News-New research on Central Nervous System Diseases and Conditions-Temporal Lobe Epilepsy is the subject of a report. Ac cording to news reporting out of Shanghai, People's Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Artificial intelligence provides an opportunity to t ry to redefine disease subtypes based on similar pathobiology. Using a machine-l earning algorithm (Subtype and Stage Inference) with cross-sectional MRI from 29 6 individuals with focal epilepsy originating from the temporal lobe (TLE) and 91 healthy controls, we show phenotypic heterogeneity in the pathophysiological p rogression of TLE.”
