In such an embryo culture device, a treatment egg is placed in a tray (also referred to as a dish) that stably holds the treatment egg, is transported into a visual field of the camera at a predetermined interval together with the tray, and is imaged. An emb ryologist can decide whether or not fertilization succeeds, by observing this im age, and consequently does not need to take the treatment egg outside of the cul ture device only to observe.
