According to newsreporting originating from Harbin, Peop le’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated,“A three degr ees of freedom (3-DOF) planar monopod piezoelectric robot (MPR) is proposed in t hiswork, in which five longitudinal vibration ultrasonic transducers are orthog onally set and gathered at asingle driving foot. A prominent feature of the MPR is that the single foot can generate multidirectionalspatial elliptical trajec tories by the cooperation of the first-order longitudinal vibrations in three or thogonaldirections to achieve flexible motions.”
