Abstract

According to news reportingoriginating in Norman, Oklahoma, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Asphaltenes are defined asa solubility c lass rather than a singular family of molecular compounds; therefore, there is n o uniquemolecular structure that corresponds to asphaltene. Perhaps as a conseq uence of this definition, directprobing of the physical and chemical properties of asphaltene molecules has been historically challengingin the laboratory.”
