From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents o btained the followingquote: “The use of robots is becoming more and more common , and as the use of robots becomeswidespread, robots are used in industries suc h as industry and services. However, due to the complexstructures of convention al robots, the maintenance of the robots becomes complicated, which hindersthe wide application of the robots and makes it impossible to quickly apply the robo ts on a large scale.The standardization and modularization of robots will reduc e the manufacturing and use costs of therobots, and improving the accuracy of t he robots and simplifying the structures and maintenance of therobots is the tr end of robot development. The main focus now is to make the structures of the ro botsstreamlined and lighter, and reduce the manufacturing and use costs thereof . In this regard, a robot jointis an important component among multiple compone nts of a robot. The robot joint can provide powerand output the power to a load or an actuator to drive the load or the actuator to move. By building robotjoi nts of different specifications, different robot configurations can be formed, s uch as robotic arms orbiped robots. The existing robot joints have large joint volume and relatively heavy weight, which makesthe transportation and assembly of robots cumbersome, and the achievement of standardization difficult;moreover , the cost is high, which hinders the rapid development of robots.”
