Abstract

According to news reportingfrom Hefei, People’s Republic o f China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Cable-driven humanoidmanipula tors offer significant advantages in terms of lightweight design, flexibility, a nd safety, thusthey have promising prospects for applications with frequent hum an-robot interactions. However, cableflexibility and joint mechanism lead to lo w stiffness in the cable-driven joint, resulting in a reduction inthe Cartesian stiffness of the humanoid manipulators.”
