Accordingto news reporting out of Salt Lake C ity, Utah, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Electroaerodynamicpropulsion, w here force is produced through collisions between electrostatically accelerated ions and neutralair molecules, is an attractive alternative to propeller- and f lapping wing-based methods for micro air vehicle(MAV) flight due to its silent and solid-state nature. One major barrier to adoption is its limited thrusteffi ciency at useful disk loading levels.”
